The plan was simple enough: spend the day on the visitor center project. I had both .NET and SQL code to write on this project and I looked forward to using today to push things forward substantially.
I didn’t even get the project open before things were derailed.
I got sidetracked providing detailed (and rather obscure) metrics on conference room utilization. At first the problem seemed intriguing and rather simple. By 2:00 PM, when I still hadn’t eating my lunch, I realized it was somewhat more complex. I finished up the problem and provided the requested numbers as I walked out the door.
The one advantage to this detail-oriented, heads-down work was the the day simply flew by.
