Rejection, submission

When I got home from work today, I had a rejection slip from Asimov’s, which was a little disappointing.  But I’m packaging up the manuscript and sending it off to the next market tomorrow, before I head off to Los Angeles.

Also, I packaged up and sent off the February story to Analog today.  The desks are clear for me to focus on the March story–except that I’ve got my retreat in L.A. next week and don’t know how much time I’ll have for writing.  I really like the concept of the story and want to get it moving.
