Lunchtime reading

25 Apr 2007 » 1 min read » Filed under: Reading & Books

There are three things that I do on my lunch hour throughout the year. (1) I sleep; (2) I end up in a meeting; (3) I read. And on days as pleasant as today, it’s always the latter. I head out of the office and over to Pentagon Row, find a chair, prop by feet up, lean back in the chair and spread my book over my legs. It is just as relaxing as sleeping during lunch, with the added bonus that I don’t feel quite as lazy afterward.

As it stands, I’m about 350 pages through In Joy Still Felt and racing to finish up the book by the end of the month. I still have about 5/8th of the book to go, but as always, I am enjoying it enormously.
