Taxi, taxi

17 Feb 2006 » 1 min read

I was up a little earlier than usual this morning because I had to take a taxi to the metro station. You’re not supposed to park there overnight. I called for a taxi at 5:55 AM and was told the taxi would be there in 20 minutes. At 6:30 AM, the taxi finally showed up.

When all was said and done, however, I was in to work 15 minutes later than usual.

It was actually beautiful out this morning. Standing outside, waiting for the taxi, it must have been almost 60 degrees and a warm wind blowing through the air. It’s supposed to rain later in the day, I think.

I’m on the 4 PM Acela to New York City/Astoria today so I’m leaving work a little early in order to make the train.
