So far, I’ve spent almost the entire day reading Gotham. What a great book. I’m not 102 pages into it and I really like it. No wonder it won the Pulitzer. What a rich and detailed history. I’m really enjoying it and have stopped only to come up for a bit of air. I’ll probably go back to the book in a little while.

It’s been very windy here today; the wind is keeping the temperatures down in the 20s, but it should warm up a little later in the week. The sky is clear, however, and so, looking outside, gives the illusion of a warm day, a Santa Ana-like day in Southern California.
