Book change

Every now and then, I’ll start a book, and for no other reason than I find a more interesting book, I’ll quit the first to read the second.

That happened today. I was in Annapolis and at a small bookshop, came across Douglas Coupland’s new novel, JPod, which would appear to be about software developers (actually, game developers) in some kind of insane company. The jacket material read like a satire of my daily life, and so I simply could not pass it up. So I’m taking a hiatus on The Last Witchfinders while I read JPod.

Incidentally, Douglas Coupland may be more familiar to people who have read the novel Generation X.
