For the first time I can remember (at least in the last 10 years), I somehow managed to forget to set my alarm last night. Normally, this doesn’t matter because I wake up a few minutes before my alarm goes off anyway. But this morning, I woke up at 5:30 AM (about half and hour before my alarm was to go off), turned over, and went back to sleep. I woke up again and noticed that the room seemed a little brighter than usual. I looked at my clock and it was 6:16 AM! No alarm.
So I got into work about 15 minutes later than usual, and I’ve been puzzling all morning as to how I could have forgotten to set my alarm. I just don’t get it.
