Bad allergy day

I can already tell today is going to be one of those bad allergy days. I’m all itchy. I took a ClaritonTM a little while ago, but I’m itchy enough that I also just took one BenadrylTM. That’s pretty extreme for me, since it has a tendency to make me a bit sleepy, but I’ll take my chances because I don’t want to be sneezing and watery-eyed all day long.

Bad allergy day

I woke up this morning with itchy eyes and a runny nose, my first bad allergy day of the season. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize it until I was on my way into work so I didn’t take any Clariton before I left the house. I keep some in my desk drawer at work, but when I checked, the box was empty so I need to run over to Harris Teeters to get some allergy medicine.

Major allergy attack!

I’m in the midst of the worst allergy attack that I can ever remember. Eyes and nose were itching like crazy, all the way home on the train. It was all I could do to avoid tearing my eyes out! As soon I got in the house, I downed a couple of Benedryl. That was 10 minutes ago. So far, no relief, but I’m hoping for some soon. This is insane!

And the funny thing is, according to the weather reports, it’s a very mild allergy day today. But this is definitely not my cold because it involves way too much itching to be a cold.

Allergy madness

For several days now, I have been having major allergy attacks. I’ve been taking Claritin during the day and gobs of antihistimines at night. Once again, I woke up this morning all itchy. It’s madness. I took a Claritin, but that’s about all I can do right now. I’m about to head over to the gym to do a half hour or cardio and then some abs work. So I can’t take anything else until I get back. Hopefully the Claritin will have kicked in by then.

Later this afternoon, I’m heading down to Foggy Bottom to meet AJ and Denisse in order to spend some time with them. If the allergies are still bad then, at least I can take a Benedryl or something, since I don’t have to drive.

Go American League!

Well, it’s the middle of the 4th inning with the National League winning 2-1. Unfortunately, I’m not going to be able to stay up for the whole game. I’ve had a pretty bad allergy attack this afternoon and this evening, I’ve been loading up on antihistamines. They are just barely beginning to kick in but that means I’ve got to go to bed soon or I’ll regret it in the morning.

So, 10 minutes and I’m off to bed. But I’m still pulling for the AL to win.
