Amusing OS X easter egg

I co-worker of mine pointed out an amusing OS X easter egg today. Macintosh OS X is entirely UNIX-based (I explain this for my non-technical friends) and has most of the common development languages pre-installed. One of those frequently-used programming languages is Python. Buried deep within Python’s folder structure, is a folder called “Test” and within that folder is a file called “Audiotest.au”, which is an audio file. If you double-click on the file and play the audio, you get the clip: “Nooooo-one expects the Spanish Inquisition!” from–you guessed it–Monty Python.

It’s a bit geeky, but I thought it was pretty funny, and I made the connection right away.
