Finishing up for the day

It’s just about 7 PM and I’ve been here in the office since 10 AM, so I have put in a full day. I’m not done and I will have to come back tomorrow, but I feel good about the progress I made (and bad about having lost a Saturday).

I’m about to head home. I’m hoping to finish up volume 2, issue 1 of SCIENCE FICTION AGE on the train ride home and maybe even get my comments posted before I collapse in bed tonight.

In the office!

I was up at 7:30 this morning, headed up to IHOP for breakfast, and from there I headed into the office (yes, on a Saturday) to get some work done that I need to have completed before Monday.

I’m hoping to be done with everything that I need to do by 3 PM, at which point I’m heading over to the gym for my arm and shoulder workout. Progress update later on today…

Good, but not good enough

I made good progress on my various projects today, but not good enough to keep me from working this weekend. And next weekend. I don’t know exactly how much work I’ll have to do over each weekend; I’m hoping that it’s not too much. But at this point, I’ve resigned myself to the fact that I’ll be coming into the office. (Or at the very least, working from home, which is usually less productive for me.)

I’m wrapping up here for the day. I’ve got my workout with Bernard in about 20 minutes so I will be heading over to the gym. Tonight I’m going to try and finish up the final draft of “The Folly of Man” and start on a new story, which I am calling “Situational Awareness”. I’ve also gotten through the first two stories in SF AGE Volume 2, Issue 1, but I’ve got 5 more to go.

I’m stuffed from the foot-long Subway sandwich I had about an hour ago to carb up for my lower body workout…
