Tail end of lunch and I keep hearing things. Sounds like the kind of low volume, tinny sound that an iPod makes when it accidentally turns on in your backpack. Except my iPod is sitting right next to me. And yet, I keep hearing this. Ah–I’ve found out what it is: it’s the hard disk spinning in my laptop. That, plus a slightly groggy me (from my lunchtime nap) have created an imagined “little voice”. Amusing!
