Taxes have been paid

I went to the post office and mailed in my check for $2,900 to the Federal government, covering what I owed for tax year 2005. I dated the check today, April 1, 2006. Who knows? Perhaps the IRS will think it’s an April Fool’s Day joke and refund my money.
