Just finished 600 words comprising the first two scenes of the new story, "The Big Picture".  Actually the story is a rehash of an older story I wrote back in 2005, but with a different twist and putting into practice what I’ve learned in the writer’s workshop.  I expect it to be in the neighborhood of 6,000 words by the time it’s finished, meaning I’ve completed nearly a tenth of it today.

In the meantime, I’ve gotten more useful feedback on "If By Reason of Strength…" but I’m hesitating to start on any changes until I’ve gotten feedback from everyone.
