I did nearly 1,400 words of a new story, “Funeral Days” this evening.  It represents the first scene of the story, but it is way to long as a first scene and needs some severe cutting and tightening.  But at least it’s on paper and I’m happy to say that I know where the rest of the story is going and I think this is going to be a good one.
