I saw my doctor this morning.  He looked at my thumb and tested out a few things and concluded, for now, that it is probably swelling from a repetitive motion injury.  He suggested a wrist brace as well as upping the amount of Advil that I’ve been taking.  See how it goes for a week, and if things are still the same, he’s sending me for a nerve conduction test.

My doctor is in Silver Spring and I thought the drive would be a long one, but it really wasn’t bad at all.  Either was the drive back into the office.  That made me happy.
