The good folks at Evernote are holding a get-together today and tomorrow for their Ambassadors. It gives us a chance to meet one another in person, and also gives us the opportunity to visit Evernote’s headquarters and learn more about the company and products. I’m flying out to San Francisco early this afternoon for this trip.
It is a bit of a whirlwind trip. My flight leaves around noon today (Thursday) and I am back home at 7am on Saturday morning. There are a few social events planned for this evening, and an entire day pack with meetings and activities tomorrow. I take the redeye back home tomorrow night. I thought this might have been my quickest cross-country turnaround trip, but I do recall a shorter trip, back in late 2004, when I was in Los Angeles when my grandpa was sick and made a 1-day trip back to the DC area in order to vote in the election that year.
I’m looking forward to meeting the other ambassadors, as well as meeting in person the people at Evernote that, so far, I’ve only worked with virtually. I suspect I’ll have Internet access, but my schedule is pretty tight so it’s possible that posting will be spotty over the next day and a half. Also, I’ve got some catching up to do on NaNoWriMo. I hope to make up some of that on the plane today.
