It just occurred to me that I haven’t posted here in a couple of days, which is unusual. I didn’t want anyone to worry. I’ve just been extremely busy with the day job. Today is supposed to be a Going Paperless post, but I’ve pushed that off until tomorrow. There’s just too much other stuff going on right now.
Despite all of that, however, I’ve still managed to write fiction every day. In fact, assuming I write today and tomorrow, tomorrow will mark 50 consecutive days of writing fiction, a feat that I don’t believe I have come close to achieving at any other time in my life. On some days, I only write a few hundred words. On other days, more than a thousand. But the thing is I have been writing every day and it is amazing how quickly a story grows and moves forward when you can manage to squeeze in twenty minutes of writing each and every day.
In any case, I just wanted folks to know that I haven’t completely disappeared and I fully expect things to return to some semblance of normal in the not-too-distant future. In the meantime, thanks for your patience.
