    Happy New Year Jamie! Great book list! How do you find the time?? I honestly don’t think I read a single book from cover to cover in 2015. Although I did read bits & pieces of many, and I read a boat-load of blogs/articles. I start many books and seem to lose interest part way through and then skim the rest. I think I need to switch to reading fiction in 2016, or at least a LOT less non-fiction.

      Dave, one word: audiobooks. At one time, I swore that I could not listening to an audiobook. I gave a lot of bad reasons. Since 2013, however, I’ve listened to at least a hundred. I listen to them when I do chores around the house. I listen to them on long drives. I listen to them on my daily walks. It is multitasking at its best. I still read paper and e-books, but what really pushed up my annual numbers, given everything else I have going on, is audiobooks.

    Impressive!

    I presume that your ultimate goal is to have read the whole work of Stephen King. Can you estimate the ratio of what he wrote and what you read from him and when do you expect to be “up-to-date”?

      Michel, with a few exceptions, I’ve already read most of King’s books. I was re-reading some of them earlier this year, trying to keep up with Richard Chizmar’s Stephen King Revisited, but I got sidetracked with other stuff. To answer your question, I’d guess that I’ve read between 85-90% of everything King has published to-date.

    Great suggestion about audiobooks Jamie. I’ve been meaning to check out Audible and I’ve just never done it. I travel a lot for work, so it would be a nice change of pace from all the podcasts I currently listen to in the car. You know what’s funny… After I read your comment, I remembered that I actually did listen to a couple audiobooks last year. I got them from the library on CD and ripped them to MP3 so I could listen on my phone. But I listened to “Waking Up” by Sam Harris, and “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up” by Marie Kondo. Oh, and I just read your latest post about the drive home from Florida. Good stuff! 🙂
