This morning, we headed out at 8 am to meet with Megan Landmeier, the photographer taking our family photos this fall. We haven’t had professional family photos taken since not long after the Little Miss was born, probably around 5 years ago now.
It was a blast. The kids were well-behaved and cooperative. Even Ellie did a pretty good job, considering she’d only 10 weeks old. Plus, we had perfect weather. Fall here in northern Virginia seems to be at its peak right now, in terms of colors. I grabbed a few photos during the photo shoot, a kind of meta-shoot, the action outside the action. Here are a few.
With the photo shoot done, I plan on keeping it low-key today. Some writing later, but mostly, I plan on relaxing with more of my re-read of Wizard and Glass by Stephen King.
