I went out with a bunch of people after work last night for an extended happy hour. We started at Champps, at around 4:30 PM. Sometime around 9 PM or so, we headed over to Ragtime over in Roslyn. We spent another few hours there and before I knew it, it was past 11:30. I didn’t drink much last night and it had been a long day besides and by that time, I just wanted to get home. From Roslyn, at that time of night, the train ride can be pretty long. But I was home by about 1 AM. I couldn’t go right to bed because all of my clothes smelled of smoke and I needed to take a shower to get the smell off of me. But shower I did and then I virtually collapsed in bed and even managed to get a pretty good night’s sleep.

I was up at 9 this morning and headed over to IHOP for breakfast. Then it was back here to veg in front of the TV for a while and now I’m going to spend the early afternoon doing some reading. I’ve got my workout later on this afternoon.

Calls from Dad and Jen this morning. I got the latest issue of SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN in the mail yesterday. Also the latest issue of FANTASY & SCIENCE FICTION. And my Comcast bill.
