• Evanescence exclusive “catalog”?

    20 Jul 2006 » 1 min read about Music & Arts

The Apple Music Store now has the Evanescence Exclusive Catalog available. I liked their album, “Fallen”, so I checked to see what else they had in their catalog. Turns out they have “Fallen” and a “live” album, “Anywhere But Home”. One album does not a catalog make.

  • New York City on $2/day

    20 Jul 2006 » 2 min read

This weekend in NYC, I planning on having a fun time; at least one nice dinner with jen_ashlock and Jason, and who knows what other good times. Jen and Jason have put themselves on a no-eating-out budget in the month of July, but I have a plan that will allow us to still have at…

  • Workout #5: The Elipitical!

    19 Jul 2006 » 1 min read about Fitness & Health

Just back from my fifth workout (after work, without Bernard). I was instructed to do cardio today and I decided to give the eliptical a try. I love it! It’s much better than either the recumbant bike or regular bike, and it’s not nearly as hard on the knees as the treadmill. I did a…

  • No softball today

    19 Jul 2006 » 1 min read about Work & Career

We were scheduled to have a softball game tonight in Anacostia, but because of the dangerously excessive heat, the game was rescheduled until 2 weeks from today. Our last three games of the season are all pretty close together. Seeing as how I was going to be out late for softball, I decided to stay…

  • Workout #4 (second with the trainer)

Up at 4:30 AM and had cereal and a banana instead of an energy bar this morning. I stopped in at work to drop off my stuff and then headed to the gym. I didn’t do any warming up beforehand because I was supposed to get my body fat test today. That I did. The…

  • Workout #3

    18 Jul 2006 » 1 min read about Fitness & Health

After work today, I headed over to the gym for my third workout. I did 30 minutes of cardio, this time on the recumbant bike. It was a little more comfortable, but I still managed to do the same distance:10.8 miles. I discovered that if you go outside your range too much, the machine lets…

So, I’m off to NYC again this weekend to see Jen and Jason. I love their new place so much that I just had to go back up there. I got my Acela tickets this evening. I head up at 3 PM on Friday and head back down to DC at 10 AM on Monday.…

  • Orioles vs. Rangers

    17 Jul 2006 » 1 min read about Sports

AJ and I headed to the Orioles game today. And although it was 95 degrees and very humid out, my seats are in the shade–and their was a great breeze blowing in from the outfield so it was actually very comfortable. It was a pretty boring game. The Orioles won 4-0. The most interesting thing…
