Up at 4:30 AM and into the gym by 5:50. I can tell this morning that I haven’t done much strength training in the last two weeks because I’m a little sore in my chest, arms and back. Not as much as when I first started, but enough to be noticeable. Still, that didn’t stop me from having a good workout on the elliptical this morning.
40 minutes on the elliptical. I burned 569 calories, went a distance of 3.04 miles, and maintained a pace of 83 RPM with a peak of 100 RPM.
I saw Bernard this morning and he asked how things were going, checking up on my workouts and my nutrition. Tomorrow morning is a lower body workout and I haven’t done one of those in a few weeks either, so I can expect my legs to be sore this weekend.
We’ve also got our first softball practice at lunch today and another one after work tomorrow. I’m looking forward to those.
