The seventh inning — stretched

06 Sep 2007 » 1 min read » Filed under: Sports

That was some 7th inning the Yanks ended up having last night. I flipped on the radio and listened to part of it and after they’d went up 4-2 I figured they’d win the game. I had no idea that they’d score 8 in the inning and that A-Rod would hit 2 HR in the same inning. They are now 6 back of the Red Sox and 3 ahead in the wild card.

Just into the office. We have a softball practice at lunch today in preparation for the playoffs on Saturday. Otherwise, I’m spending my day on application design work and requirements documentation. I have no meetings today! (But I have 5 hours worth of meetings tomorrow, including meetings from 11 AM – 3 PM straight.)

Update: Turns out the Yanks scored 8 runs in the 7th inning. I’ve modified the subject line of this entry appropriately.
