It is official. I will be attending RavenCon this year, and Kelly will be going with me. In 2007, RavenCon was the first science fiction convention I ever attended. This time, it will be the first for Kelly. (She lovingly refers to these as my “nerd conventions”.) We decided to stay over Saturday night, and I booked the hotel today. We’ll be heading down first thing Saturday morning, and coming home early on Sunday.
I’m looking forward to seeing Edmund Schubert and David Coe, as well as meeting the Guest of Honor, Jack McDevitt.
This is likely the last s.f. convention I will get to for some time, since the baby is due in early June.
