My virtual to-read stack (who needs a nightstand anymore?)

Since I haven’t posted it in a while, here is what is on my virtual “to-read” stack on my Kindle App for the iPad:

And in case you can’t read what’s there, here is the list, in no particular order, except the first item which is what I am reading now:

  3. A Dance with Dragons by George R. R. Martin
  4. In the Plex by Stephen Levy
  5. I’m Feeling Lucky: The Confessions of Google Employee Number 59 by Douglas Edwards
  6. The Mote in God’s Eye by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle
  7. The Jewel-Hinged Jaw by Samuel R. Delany
  8. The Quantum Thief by Hanny Rajaniemi

It’s nice to be able to take this stack with me wherever I go without an added weight. Have I said recently how much I like e-books?

    The Quantum Thief is amazing. Every second you leave it unread, you die a little more. Trust me.

      Adam, I will get to The Quantum Thief eventually, but the next science fiction novel I read will be The Mote In God’s Eye. When that will be is another question entirely.

      Mark, I haven’t read any of the enumerated items in your list, although both Vortex and Crossing Over are interesting (the latter because it’s Nancy Kress and I think “Beggars in Spain” is one of the best novellas I’ve ever read.)

    Adam is right. As a bonus, “The Quantum Thief” has the best secret league of caped crime fighting superheros ever.
