The Man Who Murdered Mozart by Robert Walton and Barry N. Malzberg

26 Feb 2012 » 1 min read

Just a quick note to mention that the March/April 2012 F&SF contains a rather remarkable story by Robert Walton and Barry N. Malzberg called “The Man Who Murdered Mozart.” Go forth and read it as soon as you get a chance. It is, in some ways, an homage to Bester’s classic “The Men Who Murdered Mohammed” (F&SF, October 1958),  and in other ways, it stands upon the shoulders of that story and takes the ideas to new heights.

If you don’t already subscribe to F&SF, you can get the full magazine in Kindle format for a mere $0.99 an issue.

  1. Just Googled this wonderful story to see if anyone else had noticed. Very glad someone has. Best new short I’ve read in a long time. Outstanding stuff.

At any rate, neat to stumble upon your blog, Mr. Rubin. Will explore.

    Cheers,
    Z
