Signal boosting: Benefit for Baby Eric

08 May 2012 » 1 min read » Filed under: Personal & Family

My sister is helping to spearhead a benefit for a friend of hers. You can go read all about the effort here, but the gist of it is that her friends have a very, very sick 8 month old baby who can use all of the help he can get. In addition to making a donation, I promised to do my best to signal boost this effort1. I have an 8-month-old girl at home and it is just heartbreaking to read about Baby Eric.

So please, if you have a moment, go check out the Benefit for Baby Eric and consider making a donation. And if you can’t make a donation (times are tight for everyone), please consider signal-boosting the site.

You can also follow the effort on Twitter and/or Facebook.

My sincerest thanks for any help you can give.

  1. I almost never do this kind of thing. Witness the fact that in nearly 5,000 posts since 2005, this is the first in which I can recall signal boosting something like this. But it really is a worthy cause.
