Technically, I am staying in Redwood City, but my flight arrived 15 minutes early into San Francisco. It occurred to me on the way that this was the first time I'd flown to California since April of 2011. I think it is the single longest period I've gone without returning since I moved back east more than 10 years ago.

The flight itself was uneventful. Full, but I ended up with some extra legroom. I did some reading, ate lunch, and did a little writing, although not as much as I'd've liked. Taxi to the hotel took about 25 minutes or so.

I'm meeting up for drinks and dinner with the other Evernote Ambassadors in about 2 hours. After that, I'm getting together with my good friend, Norm, who I haven't see in person in far too long.

I already miss my family, but I talked to them just a little while ago.
