Today is the first full day of our vacation. It is also a travel day, the first leg of our trip south to warmer climates for a few weeks. We’ve been on the road about 4 hours and have stopped for some lunch. We have about another 3 hours to go after lunch.

So things will be pretty quiet here today. I managed to get some writing done first thing this morning which takes off a little pressure in case I am exhausted tonight. But I hope to get a little more in anyway.

Okay, time for lunch. Man, it feels good to know that 22 more days of vacation lay spread out before us.
