Workout #33 (Cardio)

12 Jan 2007 » 1 min read » Filed under: Fitness & Health

Up at 4:30 and I didn’t get to bed until almost 10:30 last night so I was a little groggy this morning. I woke up quickly on the train ride in, as I started reading another good story, Kris Rusch’s “Recovering Apollo 8” in the February 2007 issue of ASIMOV’S.

40 minutes on the elliptical this morning. I burned 545 calories, went a distance of 2.92 miles and reached a peak RPM of 117. After cardio, I did an abbreviated group of lower body exercises in prep for my workout tomorrow. Abbreviated because I have a lot to do this morning and I am leaving the office at noon.

Group 1 1st Set 2nd Set 3rd Set
------- ------- ------- -------
Angled, seated calf 12/120 12/120 12/120
Power crunch 1000 20/25 20/35 25/35

I fly to New York City this evening which means I’ll be using jen_ashlock and jkashlock‘s gym once again on Saturday for my lower body workout. Friday morning’s Johnny Rockets serves breakfast (the only morning of the week that they do this) and I am craving their eggs, bacon, and potatoes right about now.
