Up at 4:30 AM after getting to bed later than usual last night, but I pulled myself out of bed, ate breakfast and headed into the gym. I was on the elliptical shortly before 6 AM.
40 minutes on the elliptical this morning. I burned 582 calories, and went a distance of 3.11 miles. I reached a peak RPM of 91. My pace was a record 86 RPM. After cardio, I did a group of lower body exercises in prep for my workout tomorrow with Bernard.

The crunches are paying off; I’ve been noticing the beginnings of the “washboard” effect on my abs, but I still need to be more disciplined about what I am eating, especially in the evenings.
