Workout #40 (Cardio)

Up at 4:30 and into the gym at 5:50 AM. This marks my 40th workout in the last 51 days. That’s not too bad. If I actually made it to the gym 6 times a week during that time, I should have done 45 workouts, which means that I’ve missed 5 workouts (3 last week!). But otherwise, not too shabby!

40 minutes on the elliptical this morning. I burned 561 calories, went a record distance of 3.00 miles and reached a peak RPM of 123. My pace was between 80 RPM. After cardio, I did a few groups of lower body exercises in prep for my workout tomorrow.

In confirmed my workout with Bernard for tomorrow afternoon, 4 PM. It means I can sleep in a little later if I wanted to, but I don’t think I’m going to. I’ve gotten used to getting up at 4:30 and I think I’m going to keep it up even on these rare occasions when I don’t have a workout in the morning.
