Workout #70 (Cardio)

I couldn’t get to the gym this morning so I went at lunch today. It’s not bad at lunch, the place is pretty empty. I needed to eat beforehand so I brought a Subway sandwich into my 11 AM meeting and then tried to eat it quietly with a half dozen people sitting around me.

40 minutes on the elliptical. I burned 570 calories and went a distance of 3.05 miles. I hit a peak of 91 RPM and a pace of 85 RPM. I had just enough time to get in 40 minutes of cardio and a shower so nothing else today, I’m afraid.

This is my 70th workout in 93 days. My pace is 6 workouts a week, which means if I did every workout that I was supposed to do, I’d be at 80 workouts. I’m at 70 which means over the course of 90 days, I’ve skipped 10 workouts. It sounds like a lot, but I’m pretty pleased. And I’ll try and do better over the next 90 days.

I’ve got a workout with Bernard tomorrow afternoon, so I can sleep in an hour later tomorrow morning.

And it’s snowing out, although not too badly.
