Going Paperless: Top 10 Paperless Posts of 2012

Since today is Christmas Day, I am taking the day off to be with my family. I didn’t write a new Going Paperless post this week, but since we’ve reached the end of the year, I thought I’d share the list of the top 10 Going Paperless posts for 2012. I started writing these posts in April and I have done about one each week since for a total of 37 by my count. The older posts have a slight advantage in being around longer than the newer posts, but I’m just going to give the list as it stands without trying to compensate for the length of time the post has been around.

    Hey Jamie, I’m just wondering about whether the tags in your shared notebook is necessary? The new Evernote adds your tags (joined notebooks) to my tag trees, and it always throws me off. Perhaps you could un-tag the notes (it’s only the two templates, I believe)?

      Thanks! I like the concept of the new combined tags/notebooks, but I think the execution has a ways to go yet. Have a great 2013!

    And I thought I was a vivid Evernote user. Thanks for sharing. I have found lots of valuable information and ideas to my own use of Evernote ploughing through your blog posts of 2012.

    I found “My mobile paperless office” not only inspiring but also reassuring. I use a lot of the same tools in my mobile office.

    Hi Jamie,
    I’m looking for a post you made after this one which outlines the printer that you have since updated to – I remember you noted it, but cannot find the post.

    Are you able to assist with the scanner model?

      Adam, I don’t use a printer since I am paperless. (A printer would be counterproductive. 😉 ) That said, my current scanner–the one that sits on my desk in my office–is a Fujitsu s1300i. I love it! I also use a Doxie One scanner. I keep this one in my messenger bag (it is really small) so I can scan things when I am away from the office. Hope this helps!
