Our “held” mail was delivered today–in one of those Post Office crates. Lots of junk, as usual, but also quite a bit of cool stuff. I guess lots of cool things accumulate in three weeks worth of mail in December. The cool stuff includes:

• A check for two pieces of writing that will be appearing in Analog later this year.
• My absolutely stunning (signed!) 2013 John Picacio calendar
• A very cool t-shirt from Apex Books
• A couple of dozen Christmas cards

So many cards, in fact, that I’m not even done looking through them all.
