First, don’t panic! Nothing is going away. I am simply making a change to the weekly Going Paperless posts that will make my life a little easier. For a year and a half now, I have been doing these posts weekly. I’ve missed a week here and there but if you look, you’ll see there are 77 weeks worth of posts. But it comes with a price–and that price is that I stress out a little each week wondering what to post about.
To remedy that stress I am going to be doing the following:
- A regular, in-depth Going Paperless post every other week. This should help reduce the stress of coming up with a good topic every week.
- A regular Going Paperless “Quick Tip” every other week. This will ensure you still see a post every week.
So, tomorrow’s Going Paperless post will be the first of my “quick tips” and October 15 will be a regular in-depth post. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Not to belabor the point, but under this schedule, October would look something like this:
- October 1: In-depth post
- October 8: Quick tip
- October 15: In-depth post
- October 22: Quick tip
- October 29: In-depth post
What is a “quick tip” post? Well, tune in tomorrow for a specific example but it will typically be a short post that illustrates how to use Evernote (and various other tools) do do some quick, practical activity in a few short steps.
So you still get a post every week and I can relax a little a shave off a little stress. It’s a win-win.
