Of course, the kids are excited for this evening because it means dinner with friends, then putting on costumes (Iron Man and a Lady Bug), trick-or-treating, and everyone’s favorite (unless you’re a dentist¹), candy.

Alas, I will not be dressing up for Halloween. I’ll be plenty busy just dealing with the kids. The last time I dressed up for Halloween was six years ago. My costume? Bing Crosby:
