A little bit of writing

I got out of work later than I wanted to and by the time I got back to the metro station, all thought of going to the grocery store had fled. Instead, I treated myself to a steak dinner, and cheated on my “no carbs at dinner” rule by having a baked potato instead of steamed veggies. My excuse is that it’s been a long three days, but that’s really no excuse at all.

I did manage to get some writing in this evening, doing about 700 more words of “Situational Awareness”. I have mixed feeling about how it’s coming along, but I am working at it regardless. I can put it into better shape once the whole story is on paper.

I did some laundry this evening and I’m debating staying up to watch Heroes when it airs, rather than on TiVo tomorrow. I haven’t decided yet. I’d also like to get my notes for SF AGE volume 2, issue 1 posted if I can manage to squeeze that in too.

Most of the snow has melted, which is good.

Today was a long day in the office, but tomorrow should be better.
