More writing

I wasn’t going to do any writing this evening, what with being worried about Zeke and all, but I figured it would help to get my mind off things, so I turned off the Yankee game and wrote 4 more sections fo “Graveyard Shift”, about 1,900 words. The story now stands at 19,700 words, or about 97 manuscript pages. There is a good chance I will be able to finish up tomorrow.

I finished reading Mindscan earlier today so this evening, I started re-reading Shoeless Joe by W.P. Kinsella. What a great book. The first time I read it was shortly after 9/11, in early October 2001. So far, it is just as good now as it was then.
