Workout #16 (Cardio)

Up at 4:30 after actually getting to bed before 9 PM last night. Still, I must have been in a deep sleep because my alarm actually went off. I was into the gym and started on my cardio routine by 5:50.

I did my cardio workout this morning, 40 minutes on the elliptical. I burned 515 calories, went a distance of 2.74 miles and reached a peak RPM of 142. I also needed 72 RPM to maintain my 149 heart rate.

Tomorrow is arms and shoulders strength training so today’s round was in preparation for that:

The last set of shoulder presses were tough–I really had to push to get that 11th and 12th rep in.

When I came into the office after gym, I smelled bacon being cooked. Turns out that some folks are having a holiday brunch to which I was invited, but to which I can’t go because I’m leaving early to fly to New York. However, they were nice enough to prepare me eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns anyway a little later this morning. Yum!

I head to New York this afternoon and so my workout tomorrow will be at Jen and Jason’s gym.
