Not having slept last night, I headed into the gym early today and got started at about 5:55 AM. I did nearly a full chest and back workout, and discovered some of the pitfalls of skipping several days at the gym. I will try and avoid this in the future as much as possible, but sometimes, fate intervenes.

I’m back to 115 lbs on the chest press, although I did 3 complete sets. When it came time for the decline, I had a hard time doing 8 and forget about anything after that. My arms felt pretty weak. Of course, that could have something to do with a lack of sleep, but I hate to look for excuses. The one bright spot was the final set of seated row, where I did a full set at 100 lbs for the first time. It probably means I’ve been going to easy on myself on that one.
