We made it up to Maine safely yesterday afternoon and it really wasn’t a bad drive at all, even with the kids. I’ll have more to say about that when I have a few more minutes. In the meantime, just a few quick items:
- I am reading email, but batching my responses at the moment, so if you are expecting a response from me, it will be in the evenings for the next few days.
- Ditto blog posts, this being an obvious exception.
- Maine is awesome, if I haven’t already said so. We are staying with my cousins, in a cottage next to their house, overlooking the water, and it is completely peaceful here. We are having a great time.
- I was reading Stephen King’s “1922” late last night after a thunderstorm passed through and then everything became deathly quiet. It was pretty amazing.

Given the weather in the MidAtlantic, you must be glad to be up there, and best wishes for your vacation!
