Updates for a Saturday morning

30 Jun 2012 » 1 min read » Filed under: Personal & Family

We made it up to Maine safely yesterday afternoon and it really wasn’t a bad drive at all, even with the kids. I’ll have more to say about that when I have a few more minutes. In the meantime, just a few quick items:

  • I am reading email, but batching my responses at the moment, so if you are expecting a response from me, it will be in the evenings for the next few days.
  • Ditto blog posts, this being an obvious exception.
  • Maine is awesome, if I haven’t already said so. We are staying with my cousins, in a cottage next to their house, overlooking the water, and it is completely peaceful here. We are having a great time.
  • I was reading Stephen King’s “1922” late last night after a thunderstorm passed through and then everything became deathly quiet. It was pretty amazing.

Okay, we are off to seek out breakfast. More later. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

  1. I am unsurprised you are reading King in Maine. 🙂

Given the weather in the MidAtlantic, you must be glad to be up there, and best wishes for your vacation!
