Up at 4 AM (which is really 7 AM ET, so it was kind of like sleeping in). Turns out the fitness center in the hotel opens at 5 AM so I had nothing to worry about. Better yet, I had the entire place to myself for my workout, which was kind of nice.

There isn’t a whole lot of equipment and although it was all LifeFitness equipment, some of it wasn’t in the best of shape, particularly the seated row which had about as much smoothness to its motion as a cheese-grater. I guess you get used to well-maintained equipment and become spoiled.
I’m not 100% certain of the weights on the chest press because the weights were numbered 1-20 instead of having a real weight on them. I’m guessing each one was either 15 or 20 lbs, and I’m erring on the side of caution and saying it was 15 lbs each.
Cardio workout tomorrow.
