A little bit of writing tonight, about 250 words, mostly experimenting with the opening scene of "Origins".  It will be rewritten a few times before I get it to where I like it, I imagine.  Nevertheless, it’s a start and often the opening scene is the hardest part of the story for me to get right.

Kelly and I spoke with he11o_sunshine  for nearly an hour tonight.  Nice conversation.  Tried calling strausmouse , as promised but I ended up talking to his phone instead.

Now, I’m going to read a little more of NEW SCIENTIST and then perhaps another chapter or two of Uncertainty before heading off to bed.  (I like the ambiguity of that last phrase.)
